Trauma-Informed Pelvic Floor Therapy for Trans & Gender-Diverse Folks
When searching for inclusive pelvic health care in the East Bay, many folks look specifically for a gender-affirming pelvic PT or trans-competent physical therapy. At Soft Power, our specialized pelvic floor occupational therapy lens encompasses similar internal and external orthopedic manual therapies, use of medical devices when applicable, scar tissue treatment, and exercise programming. We expand on this by looking outside your body at the rest of your life. How are your symptoms, healing, post-surgical recovery, the state of your nervous system, or even the implications of asking for help impacting your daily routines, nervous system, and your quality of life?
